We have finally printed ourselves some business cards. One of the hardest things to design is your own logo. We went through several attempts before we finalized this design. We really wanted to have a logo that pressed well. We couldn’t decide if we wanted to use the 600gsm eco-rag from Legion, or use chipboard. So we did both! We printed the red first, and gave it just a little bite into the paper. We upped the pressure on the silver for the second pass and gave it a really deep bite. This helped give that drop shadow effect from the design a real three dimensional look. It makes that red circle really jump out at you. We knew our registration was going to be tight, but we welcomed the challenge. We knew if we could get it right, these would look really spectacular. We love the way they turned out.
